Ensuring Your Emails Reach Their Destination with Sparkpost
Since I started using Sparkpost, I've never had issues with emails not arriving or landing in spam folders. It has a user-friendly WordPress plugin that ensures all emails sent by my website are routed through Sparkpost. Before Sparkpost, several clients complained about contact form submissions ending up in their spam folders, but this issue has been resolved since I installed Sparkpost. It's also very cost-effective, I haven't even exceeded the free usage limit. However, activating a domain for sending can sometimes be a hassle, as it requires altering the website's DNS. Although you can also activate it via an email address associated with the domain, this method isn't always reliable. Once a domain has been added to an account, it can't be transferred to a different account unless the original account deletes the domain. I encountered this issue with one client who couldn't activate Sparkpost because it had previously been installed by another party, and we didn't know who.

Unreliable Service: Proceed with Caution
I must warn anyone who depends on their mail being sent to think twice before using Sparkpost. I used Sparkpost for over two years and a few months ago, they implemented an automated abuse detection system that flagged my account. I only use Sparkpost to send transactional mail to my customers and I don't send unsolicited marketing emails. However, when my account was suspended, I couldn't get in touch with anyone to resolve the issue for hours. After finally making contact, my account was reactivated and I received a generic "Sorry" email. Despite not having the resources to switch my mail provider, my account was suspended again after 6 weeks. I had a hard time reaching someone for hours, and when I finally did, I was told that another department was responsible for account suspensions. I find this service absolutely terrible and I wouldn't recommend it as a crucial part of your architecture. The reliability of the service is questionable as I was suspended not once, but twice, and had a hard time reaching the right customer support person. This affected my entire business.
